Movement joints – by Profilpas

PROJOINT DIL PBH and PAS are load-bearing structural joints composed of two opposing L-shaped profiles in natural aluminium and anexpanding part in interchangeable EPDM available in black or grey.

PBH/65 horizontal expansion +/- 7 mm, vertical expansion +/- 5 mm.
PBH/75 horizontal expansion +/- 12 mm, vertical expansion +/- 7 mm.
PAS/105 and PAS/125 expansion +/- 10 mm.

The two L-shaped structures are provided with drilled bases (diam. 10 mm) to allow the mechanical fixing with screws included in the supply.PBH: Load capacity for pedestrians, light trolleys, stretchers and cars up to 9,8 Kn and trucks up to 35 kN with maximum load on the pneumaticwheel of 11 kN.

PAS: Load capacity for pedestrians, light trolleys, stretchers and cars up to 6,9 Kn and trucks up to 30 kN with maximum load on the pneumaticwheel of 9,8 kN.

The height of the profile must be 0.5÷1mm equal or lower than the tile thickness, never higher than it.

The use of the joint must be verified considering the chemical, mechanical or other stresses of the place where it is installed.

The regulations concerning the joints and the distance between them must be indicated by the project architect or the work supervisor (withreference to the regulations of the country).
